Every spring the Dutch bulbfields are a wonderful feast for the eyes.
We include admission to Keukenhof Gardens, a riot of colour with almost
eight million bulbs including tulips, daffodils, narcissus, hyacinths,
lilies and amaryllis. The spectacular display is set against a sumptuous
backdrop of traditional and modern landscape gardening. The 32-hectare
park has themed gardens, water features and indoor flower shows with dispays
including azaleas, orchids and begonias. It is easy walking with flat
paths in the park and there are several restaurants. Workshops
led by artistic flower arrangers can be organised for groups (small additional
cost).
